Loomic's core team grew up with manga across different cultures. That passion is why we're deeply committed to restoring every ink line and screentone. We built Loomic Studio for a simple reason: as readers, we want to experience the works we love as soon as possible; as technologists, we want those works to keep their full visual power in any language.

At Loomic, we focus on the hardest technical problems in digital content localization. Our R&D team builds deep learning models specifically for manga and image-based content. Unlike generic OCR tools, Loomic Studio stands out in three areas:

• Precise layer segmentation: Automatically identifies and separates backgrounds, characters, speech bubbles, and complex sound effects.
• Intelligent image inpainting: After text removal, the AI can perfectly restore the background lines and screentones that were originally covered.

As a manga fan myself, I know the frustration of wanting to read something but not being able to, or seeing a translation flatten the original art. At Loomic, I use the technology I know best to break down that wall and help great works reach readers in their purest form, as quickly as possible.
