The source language is whatever the original artwork was lettered in. Loomic reads Japanese, Korean and English manga off the page, and a raw Japanese chapter is the usual starting point.
Target: the language you read in
The target language is the one Loomic letters back into the bubbles. That is the list on this page. Choosing a target does not change what the source can be, which is why the two sides are not the same length.
Every language on this page is handled the same way. Loomic does not publish per-language quality scores, and this page does not rank one language above another.

What language does the original manga have to be in?
The list on this page is target languages, not source languages. Loomic reads Japanese, Korean and English manga, and Japanese raws are the most common starting point.
Why are Chinese and English listed more than once?
Some languages differ enough by region that a single label would be misleading. Traditional Chinese is listed for Taiwan and for Hong Kong, English for the UK, US, Canada, Australia, India and Singapore, and so on.
How is a translation charged?
Loomic bills in credits counted per image, typically one credit per image. The Free, Lite, Plus and Pro plans differ in how many credits you get; the pricing page has the details.
